MagiCine announces their new Alterna GV-25 Parallel rig for live action stereoscopic production.

Magicine’s Alterna GV-25 Parallel rig provides an inter-axial travel of 6 to 25 inches and a maximum available convergence of twenty degrees. This range is ideal for capturing stereo images beyond 15 feet such assporting events, landscapes, wildlife, crowd shots, B roll, stunts and other large subject matter like Space Shuttle launches.

The GV-25 represents the accumulation of thousands of hours of development in its simple and unique camera alignment system assuring the most accurate stereo images for minimal post rework. Its simplicity and ruggedness of design allows quick setup and movement between shots. The I.O. and convergence can easily be manipulatedmanually or driven by industry standard drive motors and being camera agnostic, the GV-25 gives producers more options in their budget.
